Liberty Gardens

Liberty Gardens Liberty Garden

Located at the entrance to Murphy Park, Liberty Garden honors those who have served or who are currently serving in the armed forces, fire department, police department, or emergency response services. It also serves as a memorial for loved ones lost in the tragedy of September 11, 2001.

The garden provides a quiet place to remember and reflect on these individuals' sacrifices to preserve our freedom and protect us in our daily lives. The garden was officially dedicated on May 30, 2005, and is a joint project of the City of Taylor, Keep Taylor Beautiful, the Taylor Garden Club, and the Taylor Lions Club.
