Jeffery Jenkins joined the staff as the Assistant City Manager on November 29, 2017. Mr. Jenkins holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's of Public Administration from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, and is actively involved in the Texas City Managers Association and the ICMA. Mr. Jenkins is also a ICMA credentialed manager.
The Deputy City Manager assists the City Manager with the day-to-day operation of the City while overseeing the management of several departments including the Finance, Library, Parks and Recreation, Public Information, Human Resources, and City Clerk.
The Deputy City Manager also manages special projects that are responsive to organizational goals as directed by the City Manager.
