City Hall is located at 400 Porter Street, Taylor, Texas, 76574. Phone: 512-352-3675.

Airport 

The Airport Manager handles all aspects related to the Taylor Regional Airport, located at 303 Airport Road.

Administration

The Administration Department includes the City Council and the City Manager’s Office, as well as the City Clerk and Internal Services Division.

City Attorney

The City Attorney provides legal counsel to the City on a variety of issues.

Communications

The Communications Department is responsible for communication to news media and citizens about city issues, projects and information from all city departments through issuance of press releases, email notifications, social media posting, website management and creation of City of Taylor videos. The Communications Department oversees writing and production of the monthly newsletter, Community Connection. The Communications Department also manages the Taylor Marketing Partnership and projects which brand and promote the City of Taylor to the public, whether residents or visitors to our community. The City of Taylor television station (Channel 99 on Uverse TV) and its content is also under the direction of the Communications Department. 


Development Services

The Development Services Department oversees the City of Taylor’s building and development processes, the enforcement of City codes and ordinances, the revitalization of downtown through the Main Street Program, and other programs that support economic and community development.  The department includes the following divisions: Administration, Building, Code Enforcement, Main Street and Planning.

Finance

The Finance Department manages all of the City’s financial activity. The Department produces the City’s annual operating budget.

Fire Department

The Fire Department provides emergency services to our population and works to educate citizens on personal and family safety through community engagement. The public can provide their contact information in our online emergency contact information system for emergency personnel to use should an emergency arise in their home or business.

Human Resources Department

The Human Resources Department handles all hiring and staffing issues.

Library

The Taylor Public Library System provides the community with a variety of a outstanding programs and services. They offer an extensive collection of books, DVDs, CDs and magazines as well as archive material outlining Taylor's rich history. For younger readers, the Library offers Story Time for all ages and the Summer Reading Program.

Municipal Court

The Taylor Municipal Court is the first level of the judicial branch of government and handles class C misdemeanors occurring in the territorial limits of the City of Taylor.

Parks and Recreation

The Taylor Parks and Recreation Department oversees the City’s extensive park system, including Taylor Regional Park and Sports Complex, Bull Branch Park, Robinson Park, Hike and Bike Trails, Heritage Square and numerous athletic programs throughout the year. It also conducts numerous special events.

Police Department

The Police Department is responsible for the provision of public safety as well as enforcement of federal, state and city laws and ordinances. Taylor's Police Department embraces a community-policing model and participates in community programs such as National Night Out, Community Cleanup, and many other city-sponsored events. Our Animal Control Unit is responsible for pet and animal issues. 

Public Works

The Public Works Department oversees the City’s transportation infrastructure, including streets, signs, traffic signals, and recycling. Parks and Recreation and Utilities both fall under the Public Works department. 

Utilities

The Utility Department provides reliable and safe drinking water to our customers. The Department also oversees the City’s  wastewater treatment plant.

Utility Billing

The Utility Billing Office, a division of the Finance Department, handles the billing for the City’s water, sewer and garbage services.
