1. Minutes from June

2. Ordinance 2006-13
rezoning property in the 500 and 600 blocks of South Doak Street, legally
described as Doak Addition, Block 36, Lots 1 -10, and Block 39, Lots 3-9 and a
portion of Lot 2 from M-1 (Light Industrial) to R1 (Single Family).
3. Ordinance 2006-14
rezoning property owned by Lorenza M. Vasquez located at 1108 W. 2nd
Street legally described as Doak Addition, Block 53, Lot 11, from B-1 (Local
Business) to B-2 (General Business).
2006-15. Extending the boundaries of the City of Taylor, Texas and the
annexation of territory consisting of 1,111.81 acres of land located in Williamson County, Texas, being 618.92 acres situated in the James C. Eaves
Survey Abstract No. 213, and 492.89 acres situated in the Samuel Pharrass
Survey, Abstract No. 496.
2006-16. Adopting the International Residential Code (IRC) and the International Building Code (IBC).

Session. The Taylor City Council will conduct a closed executive meeting under
Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code in order to deliberate regarding
acquisition of real property.
14. Consider action
on Executive Session.
Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this Agenda. The
Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of
the items listed on this Agenda, whenever it is considered necessary and
legally justified under the Open Meetings Act. I certify that the notice of
meeting was posted in the Taylor City Hall Lobby before 6:00 pm on July 10,
2006 and remained posted for at least 72 continuous hours before the scheduled
