CONSENT AGENDA

(The Consent Agenda includes non-controversial and routine items that the Council may act on with one single vote. The Mayor or a Council member may pull any item from the Consent Agenda in order that the Council discuss and act upon it individually as part of the Regular agenda.)

1.      Minutes from November 9,  November 16, November 21, and November 28, 2006.  (Susan Brock).

2.      Ordinance 2006-29 for proposed changes to the Future Land Use Map.

3.      Ordinance 2006-34 amending Subdivision Ordinance. 

4.      Ordinance 2006-35 amending Zoning Ordinance 2001-17. 

REGULAR AGENDA – REVIEW/DISCUSS & CONSIDER/ACTION:

 

5.      Conduct Joint Meeting with Impact Fee Advisory Board to review information regarding roadway impact fees.  (M. Fishbeck, Rimrock Consulting; Casey Sledge)

6.      Consider proposal from Freese and Nichols, Inc. for engineering design services for the creation of the upper pressure plane project.  (Jim Dunaway, Casey Sledge)

7.      Consider proposal from Bryan Technical Services for surveying services associated with the design of the upper pressure plane.   (Jim Dunaway, Casey Sledge)

8.      Consider awarding bids for airport hangar construction.  (Bob vanTil)

9.      Consider Hotel/Motel tax agreement with Taylor Chamber of Commerce.  (Frank Salvato)

10.  Consider funding for installation of equipment for new Library.  (Casey Sledge; Karen Ellis)

11.  Consider application for the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation to refurbish existing public youth baseball/softball fields at Robinson Park.  (Bob vanTil)

12.  Consider changes in Streetscape Project bidding and funding. (Frank Salvato, Casey Sledge)

13.  Consider purchase of diesel generator for new Central Fire Station.  (Jim Dunaway)

14.  Consider intergovernmental agreement between the City and Williamson County regarding road maintenance and construction.  (Frank Salvato)

15.  Consider interlocal agreement with Williamson County for grading of the cemetery and the East Williamson County Park. (Bob vanTil)

16.  Consider amendment number one to the professional services agreement between the City of Taylor and Hejl, Lee & Associates for the Mustang Creek Wastewater Interceptor project.  (Jim Dunaway)

17.  Consider cooperative agreement with the Williamson County and Cities Health District.  (Frank Salvato)

18.  Consider appointments to Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.  (Mayor)

19.  Consider appointment to Airport Advisory Board.  (Mayor)

20.  Executive Session.  The Taylor City Council will hold a closed executive meeting pursuant to the provisions of the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code, in accordance with the authority contained in Section 551.071 to consult with City attorney regarding pending litigation and condemnation proceedings for Sorenson and Martinka properties.

21.  Consider action from Executive Session.

22.  Executive SessionThe Taylor City Council will hold a closed executive meeting pursuant to the provisions of the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code, in accordance with the authority contained in Section 551.074 to discuss City Manager’s performance evaluation.

23.  Consider action from Executive Session: City Manager performance evaluation. (Council)



ADJOURN

 

The Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this Agenda.  The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any items listed on this Agenda, whenever considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.  I certify that the notice of meeting was posted in the Taylor City Hall Lobby before 6:00 pm on December 11, 2006 and remained posted for at least 72 continuous hours before the scheduled time of said meeting.  I further certify the following news media was notified of this meeting:  Taylor Daily Press, Round Rock Leader, and Williamson County Sun.
