CONSENT AGENDA

(The Consent Agenda includes non-controversial and routine items that the Council may act on with one single vote. The Mayor or a Council member may pull any item from the Consent Agenda in order that the Council discuss and act upon it individually as part of the Regular agenda.)

1.      Minutes from February 27, 2007.  (Susan Brock). 

2.      Ordinance 2007-6, Juvenile curfew.

 

REGULAR AGENDA – REVIEW/DISCUSS & CONSIDER/ACTION:

 

3.      Consider Resolution R07-19 in recognition of police officer and firefighter action. (Mayor)

4.      Consider Resolution R07-4 to adopt roadway land use assumptions, a capital improvements plan, and the imposition of an impact fee for roadway capacity.  (John Elsden)

5.      Consider Resolution R07-5 to set a date for Public Hearing on roadway impact fee rates. (John Elsden)

6.      Consider awarding bids for materials for the Fire Station Street Rehabilitation Project. (Jim Dunaway)

7.      Consider annual Racial Profiling Report.  (Chief Jeff Straub)

8.      Consider Resolution R07-7 regarding a fixed asset policy.  (Rose Dennis)

9.      Consider grant application(s) and matching funds for Williamson County Community Development Block Grant Program.  (Jim Dunaway)

10.  Consider resolutions in support of City of Taylor’s legislative agenda:

      a. R07-10 in support of HB 2074 regarding East Williamson County Higher Education Center

      b. Consider Resolution R07-18 regarding funding of parks from Williamson County Bonds.

11.  Consider Quarterly CIP Report.  (Casey Sledge)


ADJOURN

 

The Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this Agenda.  The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda, whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.  I certify that the notice of meeting was posted in the Taylor City Hall Lobby before 6:00 pm on March 5, 2007 and remained posted for at least 72 continuous hours before the scheduled time of said meeting.  I further certify that the following news media was notified of this meeting:  Taylor Daily Press.
