(The City Council welcomes public comments on items not listed on the agenda.  However, the Council cannot respond to matters not listed until posted on a future meeting agenda.)

CONSENT AGENDA

(The Consent Agenda includes non-controversial and routine items that the Council may act on with one single vote.  The Mayor or any Council member may pull any item from the Consent Agenda to discuss and act upon individually on the Regular Agenda.)

 

  1. Ordinance 2009-24 regarding assignment and seniority pay for certain assignments for fire and police officers.

 

REGULAR AGENDA ? REVIEW/DISCUSS & CONSIDER/ACTION:

2.Consider adopting Ordinance 2009-25 for the 2009-2010 Annual Budget  excluding ?Contributions to Civic Programs?. (Rosemarie Dennis)

3.       Consider approving Contributions to Civic Programs included in Ordinance 2009-25 for the 2009/2010 Annual Budget. (Rosemarie Dennis)

4.      Consider adopting Ordinance 2009-26 fixing and levying ad valorem tax rate for tax year 2009-2010 and take a record vote.  (Rosemarie Dennis)

5.       Consider awarding contract to Gallagher Services for the construction of the North Pump Station and Ground Storage Tank.  (Jim Dunaway; Casey Sledge)

6.       Consider authorizing purchase order with Smith Pump Company for the North Pump Station.  (Jim Dunaway; Casey Sledge)

 

ADJOURN

 

The Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this Agenda.  The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda, when considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.  I certify that the notice of meeting was posted in the Taylor City Hall Lobby before 6:00 pm on August 31, 2009 and remained posted for at least 72 continuous hours before the scheduled time of said meeting.  The following news media was notified of this meeting:  Taylor Daily Press.
