- Consider approving
Resolution R09-21 recognizing September as National Preparedness Month.

- Consider introducing
Ordinance 2009-19 regarding cemetery rules and regulations. (Danny

- Consider approving
Resolution R09-20 regarding the establishment of a regional recycling
coalition of cities in Williamson County. (Danny Thomas)

Consider authorizing staff to
initiate an annexation east of Taylor along US Hwy 79 and to prepare a Service
Plan. (John Elsden)
7.
Consider introducing Ordinance
2009-28 amending the Sign Ordinance 2008-20 regarding signs along arterial
roadways. (John Elsden)
8.
Consider introducing Ordinance
2009-29 amending the Fee Ordinance for city services. (Rosemarie Dennis)
9.
Consider amending the Library
Circulation Policy with regards to fees. (Karen Ellis)
10. Consider authorizing grant application to relocate the
recycle center drop off site. (Bob vanTil)
11. Reconsider Interlocal Agreement with Williamson County
for the reuse of wastewater discharge from the Mustang Creek Wastewater
Treatment Plant. (Jim Dunaway)
- Executive Session. The
Taylor City Council will conduct a closed executive meeting under Section
551.071 of the Texas Government Code in order to meet with it?s City Attorney
on a matter in which the duty of the Attorney to the governmental body
under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State
Bar of Texas authorize and allow such a closed meeting and which Rules
conflict with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
- Consider action from
Executive Session.
ADJOURN
The Council may vote and/or
act upon each of the items listed in this Agenda. The Council reserves the
right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on
this Agenda, whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified under
the Open Meetings Act. I certify that the notice of meeting was posted in the
Taylor City Hall Lobby before 6:00 pm on September 4, 2009 and remained posted
for at least 72 hours continuously before the scheduled time of said meeting.
