In this sixth year of the TC/USA Nationals, Triple Crown Sports is holding its annual girls fast-pitch softball tournaments in the Austin area, which again includes games played at the Taylor Regional Sports Complex, 210 Carlos Parker Blvd. It is one of four sites chosen for the TCS events to also include Austin, Round Rock and Georgetown.

From July 10 through July 13, girls from Texas, Pennsylvania, California, Florida, Nebraska, Michigan, Oklahoma, Colorado, Oregon, Georgia, New Jersey, Washington, Kansas and other states will hit, bunt, run, throw, strike out, lose and win to their hearts' content in the heat of the Texas summer. The games are double-elimination to start, then brackets are modified into single-elimination. Divisions are 18 Gold, 14u and 16u. Game schedules and results can be viewed online at the TCU website.

The USA National Tournament games will be aired on national television on ESPN3, putting the spotlight on Taylor.

The following week, July 19 to July 23, games of the Triple Crown Southwest Summer Nationals will also be played at the Taylor Regional Sports Complex as one of four local sites. Team divisions are 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u and 18u. Softball clinics, live music and vendors are also scheduled at opening night in Round Rock for the teams.

All games are open to the public to attend.
