CITY OF TAYLOR TO LIMIT PARK USAGE IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19

TAYLOR, Texas – In response to the Stay Safe, Stay Home order issued by Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell on March 24, the City of Taylor is closing the skate park, pavilions, playscapes, volleyball/basketball/tennis court areas, and restrooms in city parks effective at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24. City hike and bike trails, park open spaces, sidewalks, and running track will remain open for active use within the current permitted constraints of social and physical distancing in accordance with Williamson County’s Stay Safe, Stay Home Order.

The City of Taylor continues to monitor this ongoing and fluid situation closely with the Williamson County and WCCHD. Updates will be posted at taylortx.gov and on social media as they become available. For more information, please visit www.taylortx.gov.
