About the Lou Bell Harris Pavilion
City Council approved plans for a gift structure from the Taylor Garden Club in 2008.The original design for the pavilion resembled the San Francisco Fine Arts Pavilion on a smaller scale.The completed project was directed by Paulette McConchie and Janie Kollman with the design by Joan Cabaniss.Contractors were John Gunter and Jimmy Butler.

The pavilion is located on the lake in Murphy Park and was completed in the fall of 2010.This generous gift from the Garden Club is dedicated in honor of Lou Bell Harris, a long-time member of the club.
