Facilities
Murphy Park is located at Lake Drive and Main Street (Highway 95 North), with the entrance off of West Lake Drive. A new state-of-the-art swimming pool opened in May 2000 in Murphy Park. The new complex is called Murphy Park Aquatic Center. There are two pools in the complex: a children's beach-entry play pool and an eight-lane competition lap pool. The pool was funded, in part, by a grant from Texas Parks and Wildlife. Total cost of the pool was $1,200,000.

Fannie Robinson Park is located near the corner of Dolan and Walnut Streets and has a pavilion and BBQ area, swimming pool, playscape, and baseball field.  The city contracts with the Williamson County YMCA to train lifeguard staff and manage the pools.The 2013 pool season opens at 12:00 pm on May 25 for both Murphy and Robinson Pools, with regular hours at Murphy and Friday, Saturday and Sunday only at Robinson.

The pools may also be rented out for private parties from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on weeknights and some mornings.Swim lessons, senior swim time and family nights can also be arranged. Contact the pool manager at 512-352-3958 after May 25th or the YMCA at 512-365-9622 for details.
