Taylor on Foot - District 2

The mission of Taylor on Foot is to meet residents where they are at, foster two-way communication, listen to resident concerns, identify solutions in collaboration with community partners, humanize the City, and build trust with residents. The program includes Elected Officials and Staff from the City, School District, and the Greater Taylor Foundation who walk neighborhoods quarterly, speaking to residents, and getting feedback. In January, we will walk 100 homes in District 2.

Tax Help

File your taxes for free with an IRS-certified tax preparer! The library will host free Tax Assistance every Saturday starting at 9:00 AM. This is a walk-in-only service, so no appointments are needed! 📝 To receive assistance, please bring the following: A valid photo ID Social Security Number (or ITIN documentation) All relevant tax documents (W-2, 1099, etc.) Direct deposit information (optional) A copy of last year’s tax return (recommended) Library staff will not be able to help with filling out tax documents.
