The Taylor Conservation and Heritage Society, Project Loop, and the City of Taylor are hosting this fun event to dedicate a historical marker commemorating Taylor as the birthplace of animation artist Tex Avery. Refreshments and cartoons will be featured at the Howard Theatre during the program and the marker will be installed at Heritage Square. Keep an eye out for Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, and other famous characters roaming around town to add to the fun.
